The Story

STANDING FIRM is a story of forgiveness and finding peace in times of suffering.
Dave, a widower, is working himself to death. Late nights doing paperwork and running on fumes is the norm. Bills are piling by the week, and foreclosure looms on the horizon. Dave's attitude towards the church and God are of anger and resentment. Blaming God for his wifes death, he ends his relationship with the church. Steven, the only remaining Christian of the family has been watching his fathers unhealthy lifestyle with great concern.
God moves on Steven's heart to stop complaining about his fathers situation and help him instead. With the help of his best friend Maggie, they work to reach Dave in anyway they can.
As Dave begins to move in the right direction, he searches for the ultimate question about his wife's death.....WHY?
